We screen all of our kings and queens before they enter into our program. We screen for 50+ genetic health conditions including HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) & PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). They are DNA tested, and blood typed to ensure compatibility. All of our cats have regular vet checkups with routine vaccines and deworming given at the appropriate time. Our breeding program also tested negative for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) via blood test. Even with all this genetic testing done it DOES NOT guarantee your cat will never develop HCM or PKD, but it indicates a reduced risk.

When pairing a king to a queen it is important to look for complimentary attributes in each cat. Health is the #1 consideration we make. This is why we screen each cat.
